I had the opportunity to speak at Living Hope Creekside Church in Colorado Springs this past weekend. I focused on Matthew 15 and 16 and Jesus’ question to the disciples: “Do you still not understand?” While I am not 100% sure I understand exactly what Jesus was saying (I think I join the disciples in that place), I suggest that Jesus is warning us against the tendency to focus on the other guy’s sin.
I mean – not you, obviously, but everyone else. Everyone else’s tendency to focus on the other guy’s sin.
