Littleton Seventh Day Adventist “MindFit” Event on April 27th

I had a great opportunity to be with Littleton Seventh Day Adventist church this past week. Pastors Godfrey and Logan wanted to openly address the reality of mental health struggles. Their program covered reducing stigma, suicide, history of psychological treatment, and addressing mental health through a Christian lens. During the course of the program they asked me to speak to the value of talk therapy (I’m a big fan) and how connection with others is important to healing (SO important!!). I’m so grateful that Christians are being more open about the fact that we’re fallen (yes, even in the realm of mental health!) so it makes it easier to reach out for help.
